Students complete several timed writing assignments during the semester in which they do not have the ability to draft, seek feedback, and revise. Timed writing gives a snapshot of student ability and can be used to measure whether or not students are mastering a variety of skills including making an outline, drafting a paragraph, or writing an entire essay (FC and above).
