Ten Perfect Sentences

Learning Experience Overview

Students write ten sentences and submit them to the teacher every week. The teacher marks the errors (but does not correct the errors) and gives the sentences back to the students. The student then revises the sentences that had errors and resubmits the sentences to the teacher. The cycle of students receiving and implementing feedback continues until the sentences are perfect. Teachers may choose to use prompts that will elicit specific structures that students have been learning.
